in the work than I intended. This gives me an idea
of how to proceed. It is the surprise of the unexpected
that keeps me creatively engaged and helps keep
the work fresh. Color, pattern, texture and layers
are things I find intriguing... things behind other
things, things unknown or mysterious,
unsaid or imagined."
